✨Bio✨

Sadeja Imani is a surreal artist based in the Metropolitan Atlanta area, originally born in Harlem and raised in The Bronx, NY. Since moving in 2016, she transitioned from illustration to painting, capturing captivating images from her dreams, imagination, and curiosity. Her work blends unusual designs with culturally dreamlike settings, landscapes, and strange characters. Sadeja’s recent paintings are influenced by exotic birds from Asia and Africa, folklore settings, and "Chimera" creations from a parallel universe.

Despite having no formal training, Sadeja’s art has drawn attention online and in galleries. Through research, spontaneity, and practice, her use of vivid colors and deep shadows evokes a sense of curiosity and wonder. She has exhibited in several Atlanta-based galleries, including Koncept House, Bookstore Gallery, and Alpharetta Art Center.
